Helena Rantanen is the Chief Operating Officer of the Estonian Student Satellite Foundation and advises Estonian Student Rocket on legal matters. She is a third-year Bachelor’s student in law at Tallinn University of Technology, focusing on EU, international and technology law. Her main interests are space law, emerging technologies and the legal challenges of space activities, including cybersecurity, liability and dual-use technologies. Her contribution to SDSC 2026 focuses on liability for cybersecurity incidents under the EU Space Act.
